1kg basmati rice, washed
1.5 kg beef meat, cut in small cubes of 1 cm
200 ml (1 glass) of corn oil
4 big onions, chopped finely
10-12 cloves of garlic, finely grated or smashed
2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, finely grated
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper

Heat the oil in a deep and large pot on medium-high heat until the oil gets hot. Add the onion, garlic and ginger and stir occasionally for 5 minutes. Add the meat, salt and pepper and cook it very well on medium heat. When the meat is completely cooked, add the basmati rice and 1 liter of water, increase the heat until the water starts boiling and then lower the heat to the minimum level and cook it covered for about 20 minutes.
