MEETING IN THE KITCHEN BEYOND BORDERS

On the occasion of World Refugee Day, Food Connects People is organizing a special edition workshop “Meeting in the Kitchen Beyond Borders” in collaboration with Social Cooperative Il Millepiedi from Rimini.

For the workshop, the immigrants welcomed and sheltered by the Social Cooperative Il Millepiedi will go to the kitchen together with Italian citizens to prepare a delicious dinner open to the public. There will be plates from the home countries of immigrants as well as traditional recipes from the Emilia Romagna region!

After the dinner there will be a Playback Theater performance conducted by Theatro Cesena in which the participants can share their stories and watch them enacted on the stage.

Participation is free of charge. Just bring a big smiling face and your desire to stay together with us! 🙂
